GOODNIGHT SCHOLARSHIPS 2023

Invitations to apply will be sent by the Goodnight Scholars office to prospective NC State transfer students who have applied for fall admission as well as transfer students who enrolled in the spring of that year around the middle of March. Each student has access to the Goodnight Scholars Program online application through this invitation. The student's general NC State application's email address is where the invitation will be delivered. Pack ASSIST provides access to the program.

Transfer students can apply for a scholarship from the Goodnight Scholarships office that is worth $22,000 per year for three years.

Form for self-nomination appears

Prospective Transfer students from NC State may put themselves forward for consideration if they want to be invited to apply. Students may also submit any special academic or financial conditions on this form that they believe may prevent them from receiving an invitation to apply to our program. Self-nomination is neither a requirement for or a guarantee of receiving an invitation to apply. On March 5, the form will be closed.

Questions on the Goodnight Scholars Program application will center on the student's academic success, extracurricular and community involvement, and understanding of the role STEM fields play in addressing important societal and global issues. Late March: Invitations to apply distributed. There will be a section on the application where the student can self-report their household income and other financial details. Applicants must submit their applications by March 28, 2023, and a committee made up of NC State teachers, employees, alumni, and campus partners will evaluate them.
